Baseball Delights No. 2

Texas Rangers at Oakland Athletics MLB Baseball Coliseum

Fast or slow, home-run trots should be fun. (Shall we say: delightful?)

A’s backup IF Adam Rosales, filling in quite nicely for inured SS Marcus Semien, turned in a blistering time of 15.9 seconds around the bases. Can you imagine anyone having more fun than this after a home run? Watch it here.

From Bay Area News Group writer John Hickey:

(Rosales) vows he will never pass a teammate on the bases while at the same time saying it’s “just not me” not to sprint.

“Obviously it’s always a little comical when I’m running around the bases with someone in front of me,” Rosales said. “Can you imagine if I hit a grand slam?”

Which got us to thinking, what did Pete Rose do when he hit a home run? Here’s your answer.
